Day 11

~Whats in Your Makeup Bag~

Just like everything in my life there is not ONE of anything...except husband, and I'm ok with that! I started cosmetology school in 2005 but because of living situations I was forced to quit (cue song Beauty School Dropout). But I still have my school books and learn a little on my own.I love makeup, hair, nails, skin care...its all so much fun. Someday I may go back but it will have to be when my kids are in school and when we are closer to a cosmetology school. Anyways back to my makeup bag, I have a large rollup bag that hangs on a hook next to my mirror. The top pocket holds all my mascara, eyeliners, black powder to set the eyeliner and brushes for eyebrows and eyelashes. Second pocket holds all my eyeshadow, I have LOTS of eyeshadow (pinks purples blues oranges browns neutrals greens...and so on). Third pocket holds everything for my base, foundation, coverup, powder, concealer, blush. And the forth pocket holds everything else like tweezers, nail polish, razors. I carry all brands. Some like to stick with one line but some lines do not carry things that I like. I have everything from mary kay , maybeline, covergirl ok we'd be here forever if I kept going. I don't have room in my makeup bag for my skincare but when I really start breaking out I use proactive and when I'm clear my skin tends to be dry I use Karavita ...all I can say is AWESOME. A gal was a consultant but really didn't get into it so she had two huge bags of inventory and samples and facial kits at her yard sale and I bought it all for $12.00 came home to find out that the products are very expensive! For example I got a full size bottle of eyewish that normally costs $45.00! So Im hoping all this will last me a long while because I don't think I can afford the line after its gone. Anyways thats my makeup bag!
