Day 24

~Something That Means Alot to You~

There are so many things that mean a lot to me. But other than the obvious, my family, I am most grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Being an active member means that I can and have been sealed to my husband for all eternity. Nothing is a guarentee in this life and there are still challenges you have to face as a couple but going through the Temple together makes a marriage so much easier knowing that you and your spouse are not as disposable as the world would have you think today. If everyone was told they would be sealed to the person they were going to marry for eternity, I think a lot of people would rethink the marriage. Figuring out if they are the right person doesn't mean moving in and living together to see if you could handle it. A person that truely loves you will treat you so. Talk talk talk, figure out each others priorities. If our Heavenly Father is first, everything else will fall into place. Once those priorities fall out of place so will everything else. I'm not saying you will always agree. It doesn't mean you have to like the same things, it means organizing your life according to the way our Heavenly Father would approve. Next COMMITMENT! Why is it the human race is never satisfied? Why do we look over the fence when our own yard is lush and green? Life is not always perfect even when you are doing all the right things, but resolving those problems becomes a lot easier when you have all the right tools to do so! I honestly don't know where I'd be without the Church, my husband, and my family. My life may not be perfect but its perfectly perfect for me. Here's a quote to get you through those rough days, "The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than is was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be."
